We believe 2010 is going to be Great! God is doing a great work in our minds and hearts about a renewed direction that He is taking us. The church is sensing a strong leading of the Spirit of God to refocus on the Biblical mandate of making disciples. Jesus told us in the Great Commission to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that the church can do many things to bring honor and glory to Christ however if we are not reaching souls and discipling them, then we are missing the mark. We at Meadowlake want to make the mark and hit the target. Proverbs says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18). We want to have a keen vision for making disciples.
